“Struggle” – March 2026

STRUGGLE – A Benefit Concert for Orlando Youth Alliance

STRUGGLE is a collaborative benefit concert presented by Central Florida Sounds of Freedom Band & Guard and Orlando Gay Chorus, uniting music, movement, and community in support of Orlando Youth Alliance. This powerful evening centers on the shared experiences of challenge, resilience, and hope, while raising critical funds for programs that support LGBTQ+ youth in Central Florida.

The concert will take place on Sunday, March 15 at 5:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, located at 142 E Jackson Street, Orlando, FL. The venue provides an inspiring and welcoming setting for this meaningful collaboration.

STRUGGLE features a dynamic and varied program that brings both organizations together on stage as well as highlights their individual artistry. Audiences will experience combined performances by CFSOF and OGC, including the beloved What the World Needs Now and a stirring Andrew Lloyd Webber medley. The program also includes selections performed by the Orlando Gay Chorus, special instrumental works performed by Central Florida Sounds of Freedom Band & Guard, and visually engaging performances by the CFSOF Guard, Majorettes, and OGC Dancers. Together, these elements create a multidimensional concert that blends sound, motion, and storytelling.

Admission to STRUGGLE is open to the public with donations accepted, reinforcing the commitment of both organizations to accessibility and community engagement. Donations are strongly encouraged, and 100% of all donations go directly to Orlando Youth Alliance, supporting their mission to provide safe spaces, resources, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ youth.

For those seeking a closer and more immersive experience, VIP Reserved Seating is available for $20. VIP seating offers prime, close-up views of the performance and limited availability, making it an ideal option for patrons who wish to deepen their concert experience while directly supporting Orlando Youth Alliance.

STRUGGLE is more than a concert—it is a collective statement of solidarity, creativity, and care for the next generation. Through music and movement, this event invites the community to come together, reflect on shared struggles, and actively support LGBTQ+ youth through meaningful action.
