Central Florida Sounds of Freedom LGBTQ+ Band (CFSOF) has just recorded “Freedom March” by composer Dennis Eveland. This recording of “Freedom March” is now featured on the JW Pepper sheet music website, the largest sheet music retailer in the world, with over 750,000 titles in its catalog.
Dennis Eveland is a marching band arranger and composer, he has written over 50 selections for competitive marching bands. So, when CFSOF Artistic Director Chris Green was approached by Eveland to direct and record “Freedom March” it was a huge honor and compliment to himself and the band. “CFSOF band and color guard has a mission to promote LGBTQ+ visibility and awareness. In the band world everyone knows about JW Pepper. To be featured in a recording on this site is a huge moment for that cause”, said Director Green.
CFSOF will be performing one of composer Eveland’s other works, “Salzburg Sunset”, in their 10th Anniversary Concert “On the Shoulders of Giants” 3pm Sunday June 13th at The Plaza Live. Tickets may be purchased HERE.
