Central Florida Sounds of Freedom Band and Colorguard performs a wide variety of musical styles and difficulties. Currently the band performs 3 major concerts a year, plus nearly a dozen other performances and parades throughout the community.
While the group is a volunteer, non-auditioned ensemble, rehearsals are mandatory to maintain the artistic integrity of each performance. Rehearsals are two hours weekly in addition there is a once a month additional rehearsal for sectionals, Dress Rehearsal and/or parade performance.
Previous marching experience is not required to join the band or colorguard.
So whether you are a current professional musician, haven’t played since High School, or are learning a new instrument, there is a place for you in our family. Current members come from a diverse background, but we all have one thing in common, we are passionate about our mission.
